Future of Work & Learning 2019
About The Program
87% of workers believe it will be essential for them to get training and develop new job skills throughout their career in order to keep up with changes in the workplace, yet nearly a third of employed Americans haven’t received any formal workplace training from their current employer.
As companies prepare workers for the jobs of the future, adults need to be better equipped with the tools required to succeed in a rapidly changing environment in which jobs are increasingly getting automated, new industries are emerging, and the way people attain and demonstrate qualifications is shifting.
Given this unique opportunity to reshape the US and global workforce, our Future of Work & Learning 2019 program will support startups that are helping adults bridge the skills gap through access to college completion tools and wraparound services, alternative credentialing, upskilling, and reskilling.
