In 2014, Village Capital launched Edupreneurs, our second education-focused program, in partnership with the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund and the Omidyar Network.

The 13 participant enterprises drew from across Africa and included low-cost private schools, the first African-developed educational programming for kids, and alternatives to higher education that prepare young Africans for the workforce.
