PROGRAM OVERVIEW

SOURCE, a collaboration between Village Capital, The Hitachi Foundation, and Investors’ Circle, is excited to launch two forums in Philadelphia and Durham centered around what the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank calls the “health-wealth” gap. We are especially interested in entrepreneurs with solutions that will increase and/or improve access to both healthcare and treatment for low-wealth individuals.

Eight to twelve innovative ventures in each city will participate in a day-long event that will include a capital roundtable for regional investors, an operational strategy session for entrepreneurs, and one-on-one mentoring from investors.

Each forum culminates in a pitchfest to leading investors in the healthcare. Three $1,000 prizes will be awarded in the form of grant money: one through peer-selection by the participating companies, one by Investors’ Circle’s local angel investors, and one that honors mission alignment.

The deadline to apply for either of the Forums has passed, but we would love to see you at either Philadelphia’s or Raleigh/Durham’s Pitchfest!
